Chris and Lolly Swicegood are recent graduates of Texas Christian University where Chris graduated with a BA and MA in classical guitar performance, having studied in Spain under Jose Luis Merlin. Lolly graduated with a BA in Muscial Theatre Performance taking several lead roles in "Caberet", "Anything Goes", "The Bald Soprano", and "On The Town". A talented match, Chris and Lolly found their way to Hudson, New York working under Henry Hirsch (Lenny Kravitz's sound producer) and completed two CDs, the first, "Lila", followed by "Evermore". Both Chris and Lolly wanted their music to express more than just their art. Each album reflects and is dedicated to the human condition by bringing attention and awareness to something that affects all of our lives. "Lila" was written about Chris's grandmother who suddenly developed Alzheimers at age 58 and died when she was 62.
His album "Evermore" is dedicated to those who suffer fibromyalgia as Chris and Lolly became more and more aware of how many people, young and old, suffer daily from this condition. Their song "Till I reach the light" reflects the suffering as only artists can express--the struggle of the fibromyalgia patient.
